Originating from Brighton, Jordan Stevens & Harley Alexander-Sule are a rap group collectively known as Rizzle Kicks. Putting a pop edge to tracks with elements of old school hip-hop, Rizzle Kicks have definitely brought a new sound to the charts.How did this hip-hop/pop duo form?  Whilst both attending the BRIT School, Rizzle (Jordan Stevens) had asked Sylvester (Harley Alexander-Sule) to appear on a track that Rizzle was working on. Rizzle had just been finishing a solo mixtape but after they had worked together, they realised how well their different sounds blended and decided to officially form what is now known to be Rizzle Kicks. They started to hustle producers for their beats in order for them to rap over, they would also make music videos for these songs with friends.

With fans as diverse as Steven Fry, we can tell that Rizzle Kicks are definitely on the right track to success. The duo have recently released the third single entitled ‘When I Was A Youngster’ from their debut album, ‘Stereo Typical’ which also includes top 10 hit ‘Down With The Trumpets’. To add to their discography they have also collaborated with X Factor star Olly Murs on his track ‘Heart Skips A Beat’ which reached number 1 in the UK charts. 

Mixing their old school vibe with an new school swagger, Rizzle Kicks have released a video for ‘Stop With The Chatter’ which also appears on ‘Stereo Typical’.
