The album could easily be described as surprising but the duo have not failed to impress. Receiving mainly good reviews, it is clear that they work together well. Having collaborated with many notable artists and producers such as Mike Posner, Nottz Raw, Curren$y and many more, it comes to no surprise that the album debuted at number 10 on the US Billboard Hot 100. The lead single from the album, ‘Young, Wild & Free’ was released on October 11th 2011.

The song boasts simplicity an features the laid-back vocals of Bruno Mars on the chorus. This track describes the good life and scenes of living life to the fullest as the lyrics “So what we get drunk, so what we don’t sleep” are sung in the chorus. Although lyrics describe fun events and living “young and wild and free” the laid-back aspect gives this song an almost reflective feel which adds to the relaxed ambience of this simple yet smooth song.
